How to Turn Off Keyboard Backlight of Laptops ?

If you have bought a new laptop like the new Dell Studio & Latitude, they you might want to turn off the Keyboard Backlight, to save battery. After all we hardly need keyboard backlight so its better to Disable the Keyboard Backlight Function.

Turning Off & Disable Keyboard Backlight of Laptop to Save Battery

Method 1 : Dell’s default option to turn off keyboard backlight in the Windows Mobility Center

1. Right Click on the battery icon in your system tray
2. CIick on Windows Mobility Center
3. Adjust the Brightness of the keyboard backlight Or Turn Off completely.

Method 2 : Using Keyboard Shortcut to turn off keyboard Backlight

Press [Fn] + > (right arrow) to Adjust Backlight. Set to minimum to turn of keyboard backlight.

Disable Keyboard Backlight in Laptop

Keyboard backlight comes in very handy in Low Light conditions or especially when the power goes off and you have an important email to send. So make sure you know how & when to turn off keyboard backlight.
