Finding Related Images by Picture Type in Google Launched

Previously google had this tool to find related images in google image search in their labs. Google will be launching this related picture finder tool permanently on its image search engine.

If you are doing a school project or a college assignment then finding the right images for your work can be really a tough job. But when you can find related images to any image you like it become a lot easier to find the picture you’re looking for.

In case you didn’t know you could also search images by their dimensions on google.

So, let’s say you want to find images of “Ancient Egypt”. Google Images will provide you with a rich variety of results, including pyramids, maps, relics, drawings and other types of images. Instead of poring through hundreds of images, now you can simply click “Find similar images” to narrow down the results to the results to the type you want.

You could narrow down your results to show you only the “Great Sphinx of Giza” :

Or “illustrative maps of Ancient Egypt” :

Or “ancient Egyptian-style drawings” :
