As we all know, the RSS feeds are a widely used tool to get updates of blogs and websites that interest us. However, there are many sites that do not have a feed to which to subscribe to.
We have already spoken about some tools that allow us to overcome this @ How to Get Updates from Websites which don’t have RSS Feeds. What do these tools is to periodically monitor changes in the website, then create an RSS feed to inform us of these things.
However, Google has gone one step further by incorporating this function directly into Google Reader. So, Now On we can enter any URL into the "Add Subscription". Google does the rest of the work for us, posting updates in the feed every time you have major developments in the website.
