Hide Relationship Status on Facebook Profile ? Hide, Show Status to Selected Friends

Last time I posted about how to update, change relationship status on facebook I didn’t mention that you can also hide relationship status on facebook. Not only that you can choose to show or hide relationship status to selected friends.

Follow the simple tips below to hide relationship status on facebook profile.

Hide Relationship Status on Facebook Profile from Everyone

Step 1 : After Login. Go to your Wall > Info (url)

Step 2 : Click Edit.

Step 3 : On that edit page. Go to Relationships tab and select the Relationship Status from the dropdown menu.

Here you select the type of relationship you are in. Select the blank option to hide relationship status on facebook from everyone.

Step 3 : After selecting, Click Save Changes.

Show, Hide Relationship Status on Facebook to Selected People

In case you didn’t know after facebook updated their privacy settings one can now choose to show or hide relationship status on facebook from selected friends or people.

Step 1 : Follow upto Step 3 from above. Locate and go to privacy settings.

Step 2 : Click customize settings.

Step 3 : On the Relationship settings, click the dropdown to select customize.

Step 4 : This opens a window (see below). Choose your options.

You can select people in your list to show relationship status to specific people, similarly you can hide relationship status from specific people in your friendlist (your mom maybe).
