Edit, Change Aspect Ratio of Video Files (avi, mp4, mkv, wmv)
The aspect ratio is expressed as the ratio between the width and height of the video screen, and you can choose between 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio. 4:3 aspect ratio is similar to the "full screen" of a standard TV screen, while correlated with 16:09 widescreen format.
If the source video file you imported and added to the storyboard or timeline has an aspect ratio of 4:3, 4:3 in choosing Windows Movie Maker too. For best results when doing a movie, we recommend that you only include videos and pictures that have the same aspect ratio.
