Quick, Easy Drag & Drop File Upload, Sharing from Windows Tray App.

Last time we posted about how to drag & drop files inside browser to auto upload files and share the links online. Here is a cool simple app that lets you do the same with the power of cloud hosting and many useful features.

FluffyApp (a windows build of CloudApp for Mac) allows you to share, access and organize your uploads from anywhere in the world through an intuitive web interface or easily through the system tray icon.

FluffyApp allows you to share images, links, music, videos and files. Here is how it works: choose a file, drag it to the tray icon and let them take care of the rest. They provide you with a short link automatically copied to your clipboard that you can use to share your upload with co-workers and friends.

Additionally you can view, track and delete files right from your system tray. Drag and drop files directly from Windows Explorer or Desktop, define a hotkey to trigger an upload of a file or screenshot and print to FluffyApp from any application on your PC.

How to Use FluffyApp to Drag Drop Files to Upload & Share

Step 1 : After you download the app. run it and it ask for login.

Step 2 : Register for a free account… (confirm registration from your email)

Step 3 : Now run the app. and login and it transforms into a tray icon (looking like a cloud)

Step 4 : To upload files, images, docs etc simply drag drop it into this tray icon and it will be upload to your CloudApp account and then notify you with a tray popup.

Step 5 : Right Click on the icon for options. Copy the "main URL" to share with people. (You must make it public first)

Step 6 : Go to the URL. For files it shows Download button, for image its show the image.

FluffyApp can also be configured to auto-upload screenshots and set to launch at startup.

Cloud App is powered by Heroku and Amazon’s S3 Service. Files are redundantly stored on multiple devices across multiple storage facilities preventing data corruption and loss. Upload limit for free account is 250 MB.
