Easily Add FilePath Location in Upload Forms by Drag DropIf you upload files to a website, its generally done after you click on the browse button and select the file from your windows explorer and click upload on that upload form. But to be on a bit productive side you can simply drag and drop files to the input files beside the browse button instead of browsing to the file.

DragDropUpload for Firefox Extension helps you drag and drop files into upload forms which then adds the file path of the file into the input box beside browse button. Thus you no longer have to browse to that specific file.

Step 1 : After installed and ready to use, open any simple upload page. I am using Facebook wall photo upload page. Click on Photo > Upload a photo on your wall.

Step 2 : Drag and Drop a photo into the input field beside browse. And the filepath will be added to it.

Step 3 : Now, click Share to upload the photo.

Note : This drag and drop upload method will work at any upload form where there is a simple uploader (with input field+browse button).

Another useful tip is to use jumplists to drop drop recently accesses files. We explained it in our 5 Useful, Productive Windows 7 Tricks post.

Most "upload to" pages use the simple file uploader so I think this simple firefox addon will be a good addition and be a bit more productive.
