Hardware acceleration is becoming an integral part of every next generation browsers. But many browsers don’t support this feature yet, but luckily Google Chrome version 8 already gives you the ability to enable hardware acceleration and make chrome perform faster and better.
If your PC has good memory resources and processor speed, and if you can open multiple tabs and heavy sites without any problem in Chrome then you can choose to turn on Hardware Acceleration for your chrome browser.
Step 1: Open Chrome browser and type in
about:flags in the address bar, and press enter.
Step 2: This will take you to the experimental features page. Scroll down and Enable the following features.
Step 3: After you’ve enabled these 3 features. Restart chrome browser for the changes in settings to take effect.
These settings will significantly improve the quality and performance of chrome browser making it faster than before.
