Find Mobile Number of Facebook Friends + Hide Contact Info [Privacy]
For any reason if you want to find the mobile number of a friend, the best place to find it is facebook. Most of the times, by the default settings in facebook, the mobile number of a user is visible to his/her friend on facebook if that user has added it by giving it to the site at some point of time.
So, you can easily find most of your friend’s mobile number on facebook by searching on the Contacts page from your facebook account.
Search For Friend’s Phone Number on Facebook
Once you log into your account, click on the [Accounts ▼] tab (top-right on the navigation bar) and select Edit Friends link.
On that "Friends" page click on Contacts menu to show a list of available mobile numbers of your friends on facebook.
This list pulls together the contact information your friends already share with you on their profiles into one convenient place. It also includes contacts you import from your phone.
Use Search to find the contact number of a friend you’re looking for. This helped me a lot to quickly find mobile numbers of facebook friends who are not there on my phone.
Though this is fine, you might not want to share your mobile number so publicly (with friends) on facebook unknowingly. You should then read on to see the privacy settings for hiding your contact information from Friends and strangers or specific people on facebook.
How to Hide Contact Information on Facebook
1. Once again go to your account, click on the [Accounts ▼] tab and select Privacy Settings link.
2. On the Privacy Settings page, scroll down and click on Customize settings link (see pic. above).
3. On the Customize settings page scroll down to find Contact information section and it will show you all the contact information and whom you allow to see it.
4. Click on any one of the contact info. like mobile number and select the type of people who can see/access it. If you want to hide your contact number on facebook completely from everyone choose Customize. (see above)
5. In the next window under Make this visible to you can select the option Only Me or the others.
By choosing "Only Me" you’re specifying that only you can see that contact information on your facebook profile, while the rest of the world won’t see it at all or access from their phonebook page, unless you specify certain people in the above step to see them.

nSingh : Hmm! Thanks for sharing this. I didn't knew it. I always went to my friends profile page to find their mobiles. BTW, because i'm younger than 18, facebook doesn't provides so many privacy options to me. I automatically hides most of the things.

Both these phones are in some ways pretty similar, but there ARE some tech differences between the two. The Lumia 800 is somewhat superior to the Lumia 710. It is probably the best looking phone out there, second only to Nokia N9. A 3.7 inch clear-black AMOLED screen, 1.4 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and an 8 Megapixel camera combine for a solid smartphone. Although it has a smaller display than the N9 but it is still better than iPhone’s display. The 8 Megapixel camera might work for a casual photographer, but it visibly lags behind the N8 in terms of picture quality. There are a couple Nokia-exclusive apps that give their devices more of an edge than the competition Windows phones. One being Nokia’s popular free turn-by-turn voice-guided navigation, and their new MixRadio online streaming service. It also lets you use about 25GB of free SkyDrive storage for images and audio tracks. The Lumia 710 on the other hand is the more affordable of the Windows Phone on offer by Nokia. It’s not too far away in specifications from the Nokia 800. It packs a 5 Megapixel Camera with a LED flash, as compared to the 8 Megapixel Camera on the 800. It has an LCD screen instead of the AMOLED display on the 800. On the inside, though, it is similar to the 800 with a 1.4GHz processor with 512 MB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. And unlike the 800, the 710 has physical buttons on it. So it might not give you the seamless unibody experience that is expected out of the 800.
