I.. LOVE.. YOU for this!
You don’t know HOW MANY HOURS I HAVE SPENT trying to get yahoo to work with my outlook and other things. I know I should have paid the $10 but I was mad at yahoo for doing that, and was determined not to pay it to them.
Thanks so much.
Even my dad has been wanting to use this feature…
THANKS.
It seems that the solution with Yahoo Asia is not working any more for new accounts.
I started a new email account on Yahoo US, moved it to Yahoo Asia as described (different web look compared to the post) and POP&Forwarding option is not appearing…
Any ideas?
My account is 5 years old.. but still i cant find pop and mail forward option after changing preferred content to Yahoo India.. any suggestions
@ Chandru – You have to set the Preferred domain to yahoo asia .. to work.
PS: Sometimes the domains are set based on the origin of your Ip address … You may have to route it through another one
Well I can just saw is ‘Thanks’
I had been working on this since last year and finally found a solution on this site !!
Thanks a million brother
I am happy … that the post helped you ….
Welcome to Snaphow.com
does your email end in yahoo.co.in?
I think it wont work for people whose email ends in yahoo.com
This is a working Trick…. this will work for yahoo.com as well …. Make sure you do the Asia Settings Properly
This worked great! I’ve had my Yahoo email account for 5 years and it worked fine! The only problem was that a lot of the links and buttons have been renamed, so finding the option for Yahoo Asia is a little different:
My Account >> Account Info >> Set Language, Site, And Time Zone >> Yahoo! Asia
Wow. This is great! Thanks for the share.
I am helping my mommy switch over from Yahoo!mail which she had used for over 10 years. Her Yahoo! mail has just been so littered with spam and I finally convinced her to switch because I found gmail so much easier to use and good at blocking the random, unsolicited spam. It was disappointing to find that Yahoo! disabled forwarding to discourage email switching but this seems to do the trick. Huzzah!
I am glad this guide helped…
Set language, site, and time zone
Current setting:Yahoo! Asia, America/Los_Angeles
I changed it yet its not wroking..
Please help ASAP..!!

There is NO ‘POP & Forwarding’ link in options EVEN AFTER SWITCHING to Yahoo Asia!

“There is option to delete the mail or not or only forward a copy to your gmail”
@Debajyoti: where is this option? i have switched to yahoo asia, and set the forwarding option to my gmail account…
thanks for your reply
I also can’t see the “mail fowarding and POP” option, either. I switched to YAHOO Asia just like the instructions say… Maybe it depends on which location you registered on? I’m USA…. does it work anyone who switched from USA to YAHOO Asia?
Thanks
It looks like Yahoo disabled this… this will only work on old accounts.. I registered a new Yahoo and the POP/FORWARDING option was gone.. but when I tried an old account, there it was.
I have an old account and it not showing up either? Did yahoo, delete this option now?
Worked for me. Change location to Asia, then go back to inbox Click the Options drop down in the upper right, then click More Options POP & Forwarding is on option on the left. Note: my account is several years old
Thanks Brian
Alright, don’t fee like seeing if this has already been said, but it’s easier to simply switch to Classic Yahoo on your yahoo account (this option shouldn’t be TOO hard to find, however it may disappear soon). In Classic, you can navigate to your mail options, and you should see a mail forwarding option (forward yahoo mail to a diff account, whether it’s another yahoo or not) under “Forwarding” or some related section.
